It seems we no longer restrict our passion for fireworks to the 5th November. There have been plenty of articles published about helping owners with anxious pets to make life a little more bearable and less scary for them. There are also several products on the market such as noise cd’s to get them used to various bangs, whizzes and squeaks – I suppose this could help but have yet to meet someone to affirm this, many calming products – some work, some don’t, if the one you have purchased and tried did not help, don’t give up, there are many more out there.
My preference is for the herbal remedies which do work and have been quite successful according to much of the feedback I have received from my customers. The products are great for calming your pet and not just during firework time, it could be used for any reason that causes your beloved pet to be anxious; trips to the vet (recently highlighted on TV with some quite severe reactions), trips in the car in general, noises, new animals, new environments, moving home, kennels, catteries etc.,
If you are looking for something try any of these products: from Dorwest Herbs; Scullcap & Valerian tablets 100 and 200, Organic Valerian Compound (liquid with a pipette included), from Pet Remedy; gentle spray, plug-in diffuser and a new product from Beaphar; Calming Spot-On for Cats and for Dogs (works best on smaller dogs), calming collars, environment spray and treats for cats. Alternatively, Thundershirts for dogs and cats and now several similar products.
All available from us from £2.99, what cost piece of mind for you and your pet.
